Nationals outlast Angels 6-5 in 10 innings on a 10th-inning error
Washington led 4-0 into the eighth, fell behind 5-4 in the ninth, tied it, and won when a fielder's choice grounder was misplayed by shortstop Zach Neto.

The Washington Nationals beat the Los Angeles Angels 6-5 in 10 innings on Saturday afternoon at Nationals Park, scoring the winning run on an error.
CJ Abrams doubled home Abimelec Ortiz in the bottom of the first. In the second, Jacob Young singled in Keibert Ruiz, and Ortiz followed with a two-run single that scored Young and James Wood for a 4-0 lead.
The Angels did not score until the eighth, when Wade Meckler doubled in Mike Trout and Vaughn Grissom hit a two-run homer to left to make it 4-3. Denzer Guzman's double scored Oswald Peraza to tie it in the ninth, and Moisés Ballesteros's sacrifice fly put Los Angeles ahead 5-4. Andrés Chaparro singled home José Tena in the bottom of the ninth to tie it again.
In the 10th, Harry Ford's grounder was ruled a fielder's choice with a fielding error on shortstop Zach Neto, and Abrams scored the winning run.
Jack Sinclair earned the win with 1 1/3 scoreless innings. José Fermin took the loss, charged with 1 unearned run in a third of an inning. Walbert Ureña started for the Angels and allowed 4 runs on 9 hits in 6 innings with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts. Andrew Alvarez pitched 7 scoreless innings for Washington, allowing 1 hit with 4 walks and 8 strikeouts.
