Blue Jays build 5-0 lead by the third, beat Orioles 7-3

WHERE IT TURNED
The Toronto Blue Jays scored five runs in the first three innings and beat the Baltimore Orioles 7-3 on Saturday afternoon at Rogers Centre.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. doubled home Brett Bateman in the bottom of the first, and Alejandro Kirk singled in Guerrero for a 2-0 lead. Bateman homered to right-center in the third, and Kirk followed with a two-run homer to left-center that scored George Springer and made it 5-0.
Baltimore got on the board in the fourth when Christian Encarnacion-Strand reached on a fielding error by third baseman Kazuma Okamoto and Gunnar Henderson scored. Andrés Giménez doubled in Josh Smith in the sixth for a 6-1 lead. Pete Alonso's two-run homer to left in the seventh, scoring Yohel Pozo, cut it to 6-3, and Ernie Clement's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh closed the scoring.
Spencer Arrighetti earned the win with 2 2/3 innings of relief, allowing 1 unearned run on 2 hits with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. Kyle Bradish took the loss after giving up 5 runs on 8 hits in 3 innings with 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. Spencer Miles started for Toronto and pitched 2 scoreless innings, allowing 1 hit with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts.
Kirk went 2-for-4 with a homer and 3 RBIs. Springer and Giménez had two hits apiece, and Bateman and Guerrero each scored twice. Alonso had Baltimore's only homer and both of its RBIs. Attendance was 41,949.
