Marlins score four in the ninth, walk off Dodgers 6-4 on Ramírez homer

Miami trailed 4-2 entering the bottom of the ninth before Javier Sanoja's two-run double and Agustín Ramírez's pinch-hit homer ended it.

WHERE IT TURNED

Miami scored four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning and beat Los Angeles 6-4 on Sunday at loanDepot park.

The Dodgers led from the fourth, when Josue De Paula homered to right field with Will Smith and Kyle Tucker aboard for a 3-0 lead. Emmet Sheehan held the Marlins scoreless on two hits through six innings, and the score stayed 3-0 until the eighth, when Otto Lopez singled to center to score Joe Mack and Esteury Ruiz.

Mookie Betts's ground-rule double down the right-field line scored Alex Freeland in the top of the ninth for a 4-2 Los Angeles lead. In the bottom half, Javier Sanoja doubled to left to score Xavier Edwards and Jakob Marsee and tie it, and Agustín Ramírez, pinch-hitting, homered to left center with Sanoja on base to end the game.

Dax Fulton earned the win with 0.2 scoreless innings. Tanner Scott took the loss after allowing three runs on three hits while recording one out; Brock Stewart gave up the final home run without retiring a batter.

Sheehan's line was 6.0 innings, two hits, no runs, one walk and five strikeouts. Eury Pérez started for Miami and allowed three runs on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts in 5.0 innings.

De Paula finished 2-for-2 with a homer, a double and three RBI. Betts and Freeland each had two hits for the Dodgers. Lopez, Sanoja and Ramírez drove in two runs apiece for Miami. Attendance was 32,003.
