No. 20 Utah beat Arkansas 43-10 on Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City.
Arkansas led first. Max Gilbert's 29-yard field goal with 7:44 left in the opening quarter put the Razorbacks up 3-0, and that was their only lead. Wayshawn Parker's 1-yard run at 3:39 gave Utah a 7-3 edge, and the Utes took over in the second quarter. Devon Dampier scored on a 7-yard run and Mana Carvalho ran in the two-point conversion for a 15-3 lead at 9:23. Parker added a 9-yard run at 1:55 and caught a 7-yard pass from Dampier with 0:27 left, sending Utah into halftime ahead 29-3.
Dampier hit Noah Bennee from 1 yard out at 12:03 of the third quarter and ran in from 2 yards at 12:47 of the fourth to make it 43-3. Arkansas got its only touchdown with 6:43 to play on AJ Hill's 21-yard pass to Ismael Cisse.
Dampier finished 18 of 24 for 261 yards with two touchdowns and an interception; Bennee caught 4 passes for 113 yards. Parker carried 10 times for 53 yards and two scores. KJ Jackson was 14 of 34 for 139 yards with an interception for Arkansas, which finished with 305 total yards to Utah's 442. The Utes averaged 10.8 yards per pass attempt. Attendance was 51,532.
