Florida beat Campbell 52-3 on Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.
Campbell scored first on Alex Crabb's 29-yard field goal with 12:18 left in the opening quarter. Aaron Philo's 3-yard run at 8:11 and Patrick Durkin's 28-yard field goal at 1:13 put Florida ahead 10-3.
The second quarter decided it. Vernell Brown III returned a punt 64 yards for a touchdown at 14:38 and another 70 yards at 11:13. Philo threw touchdown passes of 40 yards to Dallas Wilson at 9:06 and 14 yards to Brown at 3:30, and Jadan Baugh's 2-yard run with 0:20 left made it 45-3 at halftime. Baugh's 75-yard run at 3:28 of the third quarter closed the scoring.
Philo completed 16 of 21 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns. Wilson caught 5 passes for 104 yards, and Baugh carried 14 times for 136 yards and two scores. Florida finished with 514 total yards, 214 of them rushing. Campbell had 210 yards, converted 5 of 18 third downs, and lost two fumbles; Kamden Sixkiller was 16 of 30 for 127 yards. Attendance was 88,863.
