Clemson beat Georgia Southern 22-7 on Saturday night at Memorial Stadium, with Nolan Hauser kicking five field goals.

Christopher Vizzina's 10-yard pass to T.J. Moore at 11:01 of the first quarter was Clemson's only touchdown. Hauser added field goals of 20 yards at 14:57 of the second and 34 yards at 4:54 for a 13-0 lead. Max Johnson's 42-yard pass to Ashton Hollins at 3:03 brought Georgia Southern within 13-7, and Hauser's 38-yarder as the half ended made it 16-7. Neither team scored in the third quarter. Hauser's 50-yard field goal at 6:26 of the fourth and his 49-yarder at 3:10 closed it out.

Tait Reynolds led Clemson's passing at 16 of 27 for 178 yards; Moore caught 7 passes for 103 yards, and Gideon Davidson ran 14 times for 62 yards. Will Heldt had two sacks. Johnson threw 47 times for Georgia Southern, completing 27 for 244 yards and a touchdown, with Hollins catching 5 for 97 yards. The Eagles ran for 22 yards on 18 attempts.
