Missouri State beat Lindenwood 48-14 on Saturday at Robert W. Plaster Stadium, running for 264 yards and totaling 584.
Isaiah Myers ran 24 yards for a touchdown at 10:39 of the first quarter, and Connor Lair scored from 1 yard with 0:07 left in the period. Ramone Green Jr.'s 1-yard run at 11:21 of the second, Myers's 72-yard catch from Skyler Locklear at 10:01, on which the extra point failed, and Breezy Dubar's 10-yard run at 5:20 made it 34-0 at halftime.
Green added a second 1-yard run at 7:13 of the third. Lindenwood's Pops Battle threw 15 yards to Drew Krobath at 4:07, and Henry Belin IV ran 16 yards as the third quarter ended for a 48-7 lead. Battle's 32-yard pass to Elijah Roy at 12:21 of the fourth closed the scoring.
Locklear was 17 of 20 for 258 yards and a touchdown; Myers caught five passes for 155 yards. Green ran 12 times for 80 yards and two scores. Battle was 8 of 20 for 105 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for the Lions, and led them with 63 rushing yards on 14 carries. Missouri State converted 7 of 13 third downs, held the ball for 34:10, and did not turn it over; Lindenwood lost a fumble and an interception and went 2 for 13 on third down. Attendance was 12,138.
