Kenyon Sadiq's 3-yard run at 10:45 of the first quarter put the Jets ahead 7-0. Joey Slye's 42-yard field goal at 5:03 got Tennessee on the board, and Jason Sanders' 33-yarder at 5:03 of the second quarter made it 10-3 at the half.
New York pulled away in the third. Breece Hall scored from 4 yards out at 9:41 for a 17-3 lead, and Sanders hit from 51 yards at 4:33. His 52-yard field goal with 5:00 left in the fourth made it 23-3. Tennessee's only touchdown came with 2:42 to play, Cam Ward's 11-yard pass to Elic Ayomanor.
Hall carried 22 times for 102 yards and a touchdown as the Jets ran 39 times for 152 yards. Geno Smith completed 19 of 24 passes for 215 yards, with Garrett Wilson catching 6 for 79. Will McDonald IV had a sack. Ward finished 19 of 32 for 140 yards and the score; Wan'Dale Robinson led Tennessee with 5 catches for 38 yards, and Tony Pollard ran 7 times for 35. Anthony Hill Jr. made 16 tackles.
New York held the ball for 38:46 to Tennessee's 21:14 and outgained the Titans 367 yards to 195 while converting just 2 of 12 third downs. The Titans were 4 of 12 and lost a fumble, the game's only turnover. Attendance was 64,336.
