Cleveland Browns Week 4 Recap: Analytics, Injuries, Betting & Fantasy
Full team dashboard: Cleveland Browns
Game result: Cleveland was dominated 10–34 by Detroit on the road. The Browns offense failed to find rhythm as Detroit’s Aidan Hutchinson terrorized the backup tackles.
Analytics: The Browns managed just 251 total yards while allowing 387 yards to Detroit’s explosive offense. Cleveland’s offensive line was overwhelmed, particularly backup RT Cornelius Lucas, who faced Hutchinson on 17 matchups and allowed 2 sacks and 5 pressures. The Browns converted just 3-of-11 third downs and turned the ball over once. Defensively, Cleveland had no answer for Jahmyr Gibbs, who rushed for 86 yards against loaded boxes.
Injuries: Right tackle Jack Conklin remained out, forcing Lucas into action with disastrous results. No new major injuries were reported but the offensive line depth remains a serious concern.
Betting: Cleveland was an 8.5-point underdog and failed to cover badly. The Browns are 1-3 ATS. The over (45.5) stayed under as Cleveland’s offense sputtered.
Fantasy: Deshaun Watson threw for 187 yards with no TDs – he’s unplayable. Jerome Ford managed 45 rushing yards but offers little in this struggling offense. Amari Cooper had 58 receiving yards but is a risky WR3. David Njoku remains the only viable Browns fantasy option at TE.
