Game result: Indianapolis suffered their first loss, 20–27 to the LA Rams. Daniel Jones threw 2 interceptions, both to Rams CB Kam Curl, as critical mistakes cost the Colts.

Analytics: The Colts offense generated 345 yards but couldn’t capitalize due to turnovers and drops. Rookie WR Adonai Mitchell had two potential touchdowns wiped out by drops, opening the door for LA’s comeback. Jonathan Taylor rushed for 78 yards but the Colts abandoned the run in the second half. Indianapolis converted just 4-of-12 third downs. The defense allowed 385 yards including two late TDs that sealed the loss.

Injuries: Jonathan Taylor briefly left with a shoulder issue but returned. No major injuries were reported but Mitchell’s drop issues are becoming a concerning pattern.

Betting: Indianapolis was a 3.5-point underdog and lost outright, falling to 3-1 ATS. The under (48.5) stayed under despite LA’s late scoring.

Fantasy: Daniel Jones threw for 268 yards but 2 costly INTs (QB2 with bust potential). Jonathan Taylor is still a locked-in RB1 despite the loss. Michael Pittman had 85 yards (steady WR2). Adonai Mitchell’s drops make him unrosterable despite opportunity.
